I found this piece of writing to be of great comfort. I am
always annoyed by the
prattle of weathermen who seem to think the mood and well being of
society at large to
be controlled mostly by the number of sunny, warm days. ( of course when
they finally
arrive in number they complain about the heat) I have always appreciated
the benefit to
the soul of a cloudy or rainy afternoon- or the supposed dreariness of
late autumn. I
also appreciate the references (though oblique) to eastern thought
regarding light and
dark. we must remember that nothing exists without it's opposite. Thanks
again.
