I found this piece of writing to be of great comfort. I am always annoyed by the prattle of weathermen who seem to think the mood and well being of society at large to be controlled mostly by the number of sunny, warm days. ( of course when they finally arrive in number they complain about the heat) I have always appreciated the benefit to the soul of a cloudy or rainy afternoon- or the supposed dreariness of late autumn. I also appreciate the references (though oblique) to eastern thought regarding light and dark. we must remember that nothing exists without it's opposite. Thanks again. --
