great prayer.i am at this point in my life at this present time.i was a lifelong prayer.it ewas a ritual thing, but i just recently thought it was of no good.but lately something is missing.i thought that this huge world wouldnt miss my nightly prayer of thankfulness,it wasnt the world that needed to hear it.it was myself that neede it to ground myself, thank you ,JOE DERFLER JR.

As a minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, I am afraid that i have missunderstood your statement of beliefs page, or have you misunderstood the Bible. Dear friends are you trying to say that being atheist or agnostic is fine as long as you go to church? I most certainly hope not!
Concerned?!

Thank you. I have long attempted to understand the true meaning of prayer,
with little success. I have shared many of the experiences you described
in your "prayer of an agnostic". As a recently retired Professor of
Botany, I especially relate to your brief description of the beauty of
nature.

Very nice commentary..I read it all. With all the evidence of a Supreme Creator, and loving provider, I'm amazed that agnostics as yourself fail to make the connection to what others understand as God. I too believe in science and our human abilities to understand our Universe. I too have had my times of questioning a Supreme Being, but in the end with the vastness and beauty and power of the Universe, I am humbled. Our minds are so powerful that we become tricked into believing we can actually know the truth of all we see. We all really seek where we came from, but we all do it in different ways. God Love You and may you understand even more the true nature of his love and creation. (Nice Web Site).
