Members and friends gather for a fun, theme-based evening and bid on items, services, events and goods. A children’s program and excellent food make this a fun occasion for all.
There are price points for everybody. One of the highlights of the auction is the wide variety of dinners offered by members. These dinners foster a sense of community throughout the year in addition to being a lot of fun.
The 2014 theme for the Services Auction is “Living for the Long Haul,” in honor of this year’s UCS theme: Long-Haul People. The Service Auction logo depicts a blossoming tree and we hope members will be inspired by its rooted strength, intertwining branches and ability to move with changing winds. Organic and life-giving, the tree is in it for the long haul, like our congregation.
UCS Services Auction, Saturday, November 15th, 2014.
Consider volunteering and/or attending the event and bidding. Tickets, available after every service from now until the auction, are $20, and include dinner and a children’s party. Donations can also be made at the table, or with an email to firstname.lastname@example.org or by filling out the donation form. Drop us an email and let us know you want to repeat last year’s offering.
So come visit us at our table downstairs in Fellowship Hall, and Let’s Live for the Long Haul!
