Music

Our Flentrop Organ

We are proud of a fantastic music program at The Unitarian Church in Summit. Under the guidance of Mitchell Vines, our Director of Music, world class music and musicians are brought to you. With our Flentrop Organ, two baroque violins and wide host of specialists – flutists, violists and voice artists – we revel in what music awakens in us. We also join our voices together in singing hymns of gratitude, quiet reflection, and honoring the world’s religions.

Music Programs

Afternoon Music
A long-standing tradition to take advantage of the unique musical sonority of the Sanctuary of our church, Afternoon Music is a concert series that brings a variety of classical musicians, primarily instrumental and sometimes vocal, to perform. Tickets can be purchased for the series or individually, including at the door. Each year brings a new slate of musicians. Watch the site for latest details.  See the current brochure here.

Choir
Our Church Choir is a great asset to our worship services. Members rehearse weekly on Thursday nights and sing at services approximately once every month. Under the direction of our music director, the Choir performs a wide variety of musical styles.
