Outreach: Climate Activism

Celebrate Climate Justice Month from World Water Day on March 20th the end of April.  We have several ways we are living as Beacon into Climate Justice Month.

  • Seek out the social justice table on Sundays to connect about concrete ways to live out climate justice.
  • Sign-up to take a bus with our congregation and interfaith partners to Washington, D.C. for the Climate March on April 29th!

Reserve your seat NOW for the fun bus of hope and action in an interfaith pilgrimage to join thousands from across the country to make our voices heard. Beacon is chartering buses and will coordinate with other faith communities in the Summit area to make this an interfaith action to save our planet.

When: Departure from Summit 5:00 a.m.; Return approx. 9 p.m.

Where:  NJ Transit Train Station, Broad Street, Summit.

How: Drive down to DC, where the bus will drop us off in time for the march kick off time. We will get you there and back and encourage getting to know one another and maybe even singing on the bus. Guitar players welcome!
