Our children’s summer RE program is a one room schoolhouse for grades K-5 beginning on June 17th at 10:00 am. Older children are invited to remain in the worship service with their families and younger children are invited into the nursery or into the classroom downstairs with their parents.
This Summer, Rev. Kim Tomasweski will offer an adult workshop on “Owning Your Religious Pastk.” This workshop provides some simple tools through which people may re-examine and retrieve positive aspects of past religious connections. It addresses the affective elements of these connections, rather than dogma. The workshop is designed to provide both group sharing and private exploration.”
Owning Your Religious Past will be offered over four consecutive Tuesdays, from 7-9pm, beginning July 10th and ending July 31st. Sign ups and a commitment to all four sessions are required. Please email tuli at tuli@ucsummit.org to sign up for the series no later that June 30th or sign up in person outside the sanctuary door.
